DoH Confirms Dates for Abolition of SHAs & PCTs

The Department of Health has published its business plan for 2011-2015, which includes a proposed timetable for the abolition of SHAs and PCTs. The plan includes details of abolishing SHAs by April 2012 and PCTs by April 2013, by which point full responsibility for commissioning will be given to GP consortia.
