Welcome to the Audit South West website.

Audit South West is the largest in house provider of internal audit, counter fraud and consultancy services in the South West, formed in April 2010 from the merger of the Devon & Cornwall Audit Consortia and Avon Internal Audit Consortium.

The merger reaffirms the commitment by NHS organisations in the South West to a strong, not for profit and cost effective, internal provision of high quality internal audit, counter fraud and consultancy services for the future.

Though we have grown in size we are maintaining our local touch and presence in each health community, with audit teams continuing to be based in Bristol, Exeter, North Devon, Plymouth, Torquay and Truro, linked by shared networks and systems.

These developments ensure that we are best placed to provide assurance and assistance with the development and maintenance of good governance across the NHS, both locally, with client organisations and nationally through our professional links.
